CHATEAU LES CROISILLE
—Cahors
Château les Croisille is a family estate founded in 1979 by Cécile and Bernard Croisille, who both have a strong passion for wines. They passed their knowledge and practices to their children who now manage it.
The estate is located on limestone plateaus (Kimmeridgian and Marl), surrounding the town of Luzech at 250-300 metres altitude—unique for its iron content in its soil. Château les Croisille is organically certified and practices biodynamic agriculture to offer modern, fine, well-balanced, and environmentally friendly wines.
The hand-harvested dark ink-red coloured wines, known as vins noirs, exhibit Malbec's distinct character. This wine is prized for its rich, powerful flavours, velvety tannins, and natural acidity, with considerable freshness and vivacity. Moreover, Malbec is versatile and can also be used to produce light, fruity, and easily digestible wines.
