Appearance: Straw yellow hue with golden highlights

Palate: Medium-full body—opens boldly, gradually revealing a full and deep wine with fresh citrus flavors. The acidity is taut and well-balanced, finishing with a refreshing, dry character and impressive persistence
Pairing: Meaty and oily fish, shellfish, goat cheese
 
Notes:
Undoubtedly one of Alsace's great terroirs with vines of 30 years, the Rosacker vineyard stretches north of Hunawihr, at an altitude of 260 to 330 meters. With an East-Southeast exposure, it sits on heavy marl-limestone soil rich in magnesium, the same terroir as the famous Clos St Hune.
 
Hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressing, aged for nine months on fine lees in large oak vats.
